Cancellation Policy

At Genious Model School (Saroeducationbd), this Cancellation Policy governs the cancellation of fee payment transactions made through our online payment portal.

Payment cancellation requests are handled differently from refunds. This policy explains when and how payments can be cancelled, and the applicable terms.

1. Payment Cancellation Before Processing

A payment transaction initiated through SSLCommerz can be cancelled before it is fully processed. If you cancel during the payment gateway process (e.g., by closing the payment window or clicking "Cancel"), no amount will be deducted from your account. You will be redirected to the payment cancellation page and can retry the payment at your convenience.

2. Cancellation After Successful Payment

Once a payment has been successfully processed and confirmed by SSLCommerz, the transaction is considered complete. Cancellation of a completed payment is not directly available. However, if you believe a payment was made in error or requires reversal, please refer to our Refund Policy for assistance. Refund requests must be submitted within 7-10 days of the transaction.

3. How to Cancel a Payment

During Payment: While on the SSLCommerz payment page, you may close the page or click the browser back button. SSLCommerz will treat this as a cancelled transaction, and no charges will apply.
After Payment: If you need to reverse a completed transaction, please contact us with your receipt number and transaction details. The request will be reviewed under our refund policy.

4. Important Notes

Cancelling a payment during processing does not automatically cancel the underlying fee obligation. You may still need to complete the payment to avoid late fee consequences as per school policy.
If you experience any technical issues during payment, please contact the school administration or the SSLCommerz support team.
Duplicate payment issues will be resolved under our Refund Policy within the specified 7-10 day window.

5. Payment Security

All payment transactions are processed through SSLCommerz, a fully secure and PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. When a cancellation occurs during processing, SSLCommerz ensures that no amount is deducted from your account. If a hold was placed on your card or mobile banking account, it will be released as per your financial institution's standard timeline.
